The Committee was pleased to confirm Steve R as Captain

Nine events were played in Steve's Captain's Year, but such was the pressure of being Captain his golf suffered as it had for several of the previous Captains and he finished well down the order of merit. To prove the point he bounced back the following year and won the order of merit (Jammy Swine). Five new venues were played this year including Wirral Ladies, Huyton & Prescott, Bromborough, Hawarden and Ormskirk.
